FABSSS has now received information of another large Battery Storage application just outside the village, right next to the Historic Shurnock Court Grade 2* Listed Building.

FABSSS will have a Gazebo stand at the Feckenham Wake this year.

Some even better news is that the second company to withdraw their planning application before it was presented to the local Councillors to vote on is Immersa. 

Right now we have no idea why, but as soon as we know we will share this with you.

Again we are relieved, but as two fall away another two wannabee's enter the ring.

Some good news as far as we can tell. 

It seems like the only BESS site that had planning permission and had gained a waiver by RBC planning for the extra work they should have completed, have decided to throw in the towel and not continue with their project.

To say we are relieved is an understatement. But they may be back ! 

Lets keep our fingers crossed but stay vigilant !

Thank you to all the residents in Feckenham and Astwood Bank who took time to lobby the Redditch Borough Council Planning Department and lodge objections to this scheme which is right next to the primary school. 

We are sure they now understand the village's position and so do Immersa.

Its all set up now and we plan to help you easily understand what all these crazy projects mean to the village.  

We will do the learning and pass it down to you in easily manageable chunks, so you are always in the loop as to what's happening.

We plan to make some easy to understand videos on solar panels and battery systems for the home and also these BIG Commercial ones that threaten our village.

There are many groups like us all over the country trying to fight off these so called "Green Energy Developers" who want to severely impact on our rural way of life. 

Together we can make a difference and so far we are making that difference.
